So it just occurred to me that you’re a Mystery Skulls fan too. I’m gonna assume you’ve seen their fanimated videos? What’re your thoughts on on those? Any theories?
Hm yes. Let me write an essay (although it's probably on the same lines as a lot of other theories)
Shiro is some sort of forest entity created by Mystery and desires his blood to regain her lost power and has been using the petals conjured by Luis' memory to track him down. Mystery is some sort of kitsune who, after being defeated by Vivi (or some past version of her) lost his desire for evil with most of his power and stuck with the warrior. Pretty sure Vivi is a reincarnation of the warrior that defeated him.
Arthur was always dissuaded about his position in the friend group (there are some things like his computer backdrop that shows there are a lot more characters we haven't met. The truck Luis takes also has little chili peppers on it same as the windows in what looks like a restaurant the group works at which may be an easter egg but may just as well be another clue). Arthur has a possession centered around his left arm which Mystery ripped off after it forced him to push Luis off the cliff (you can see his left arm still crawling around in the opening of Freaking Out) and is why Arthur is nervous of Mystery. Arthur doesn't remember killing Luis and the three are looking for him. Luis is obviously pissed by the murder and is seeking revenge on Arthur and has some sort of romantic relationship with Vivi.
The man they find at the end of Hellbent is probably Arthur's dad or relative. Arthur's key chain has a wrench with a crown on it which is the logo of the shop they crash into which makes me think he may have been an intended destination all along.
Word is ep. 4 will be released this October! I'm super hyped!

My thought is that Mystery was defeated by Vivi’s Ancestor, and has been in servitude to her family since.
As for who that man was who owns the shop, I heard that was Arthur’s uncle.
Aside from that, yeah that’s pretty spot on for what I think is up.
